Flight Simulator Flying
This is about flying virtually, in Microsoft Flight Simulator. This is a great hobby and pastime for a lot of people around the world. And for me. Actual real flying is #1, this is definitely #2.

The wonderful World of the Flight Simulator
A lot of thanks and respect go to Microsoft for creating this wonderful machine, the Flight Simulator. To make this a stand alone virtual flying device in itself is great, but also to make it an open source software for you and me to tamper with and be able to add gadgets and stuff that you fancy.
I still use FS2004 and not the new FSX. Reasons are looooow framerates in FSX and my hundreds of add-on sceneries, aircrafts, gadgets, things and stuff for FS2004. I'll keep until a new computer arrives here.
Anyone with a little interest and patience can add airports and buildings and you can even build them yourself and tweak the performance of your aircrafts. Yes, improve the overall experience.
There are companies that sell add-on products, but better still, there is a large community of flightsimmers all around he world, who offer stuff for you to download free of charge. And you can create your own add-ons and upload to the dedicated Flightsim web sites.

Select Airways: Boeing 777-200ER, Boeing 747-400, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 717, Airbus A320, Airbus A330, Bae Avro RJ-100 and Bombardier CRJ-700.
Limelight Airlines: Boeing 737-200 and Boeing 737-300.
Accord Air Service: Bombardier Challenger 604, Fokker F50, Rockwell Turbo Commander and De Havilland Twin Otter.
Select Historical Flight: Douglas DC-3 Daisy, Sud Aviation Caravelle SAS, De Havilland Heron Prinair, Grumman Goose, Saab JA 37 Viggen, Vickers Viscount 800 GB Airways and Handley Page H.P.42 Imperial Airways.
