CYYZ - Toronto, Lester B. Pearson, Canada

After more than 7 hours in the air we arrive from Trondheim descending over downtown Toronto making a right turn to land at runway 33R. Nice weather, nice airport. It's a big airport and a big scenery but framerates are excellent all the same. Well done by Dennis di Franco. There are two sets of double runways, several terminals and lots of hangars and other airport buildings all depicted nicely. I like to fly here now and then.

KBUF - Buffalo/Niagara Airport, U.S.A.

A short hop from Toronto across the border to Buffalo passing the Niagara Falls on the way this beautiful afternoon. KBUF offers flights by JetBlue and Southwest as well as several legacy airlines flights.

FS2002/2004 KBUF is a Simon Baldwin creation, his 2nd ever, and nicely done, simple but adequate. Now we add some fuel and on to...

KTPA - Tampa International, U.S.A.

Approaching KTPA it starts to rain very lightly, coming in from the north (I would have liked a southern approach over the bay, though, it's beautiful) to land rwy 18L and setting down nicely. This Brandon DePalo scenery is simple, created with EZ-Scenery, but with the use of Rwy12 objects it forms a nice fullbodied airport.

The airport itself is built around a check-in and arrival terminal and with so called Airsides A to F connected by airport trains for boarding and deplaning.

The web site offers a translation service from WorldLingo, a Swedish translation as well. And as all computerized translations it gives you an amusing time when you're trying to find out what the h--- they really mean.

A nice image gallery is there for you to watch. And I do like airport web sites with maps and an on-line departures/arrivals board.

Later we will touch down at McCarran, Las Vegas, on our way to the Pacific.

But first and soon, off to the Caribbean...

KLAS - Las Vegas, McCarran, U.S.A.

En route from Mexico City to Las Vegas, FS9 gave me one of its inexplicable and rare (thankfully) crashes. Irritating. Start over again and this time it works as it should and we arrive from the south landing rwy 1L along the famous Strip at Vegas.

The scenery is one of Jetways and Terminals Project's enhancements, a simple but nice scenery. The default FS scenery is very good as Las Vegas is one of its featured airports. It shows the airport's reddish colored buildings. And the view over the Strip and its famous and spectacular skyline is great.

Traffic is America West, Southwest and most American big carriers and a few international.

No gambling this time as we only stay to fuel up and plan our jump over to Hawaii.

PHNL - Honolulu Airport, Hawaii, U.S.A.

It's always exciting to get Hawaii in sight after those five hours from the U.S. west coast, passing the famous and easy recognizable islands. Soon Oahu comes in sight and we make an approach with Honolulu and Waikiki Beach on our right. This time I opt for Rwy 4R and gets it. So we have the island and Honolulu in view on final. This is again Bill Melichar's work and nicely done I would say. Since I have been there myself the scenery atmosphere is very real.

I park our Saturn Boeing 737-700 at Gate 13. I watch a couple of landings from above and take some screenshots.

The terminals at Honolulu International are connected via open corridors, so it's great to stand there and watch what's going on on the apron and at the same time be able to hear the music - the sound of aircraft engines.

Traffic is the main carriers of U.S.A., several Asian and Australian airlines and airlines of the Pacific. Domestic Hawaiian traffic is dense; Hawaiian, Aloha, Go!, Island Air, Pacific Wings.

Now you have to excuse me, I'm off to Waikiki Beach for some sunning, swimming and surfing.
