Limelight are couple of excellent, older Boeing Classics, 737-200, 737-300 and 727-200, and one of my favourite jetliners, the DC-9-14, all painted in a nice all white livery with the double L on the tail, just like defunct Swedish domestic airline Linjeflyg used in its last years.

This is an FFX model by Eric Cantu. I like it because included in the download are two liveries for Swedish airlines Falcon and Linjeflyg, both defunct. Very nice machine.

Panel is by Helio Estrela. Very, very nice one. I added a couple of gauges though.

Sound is an absolutely outstanding piece of work by Emil Serafino Jr. I like the whining, screeching sound when you start the engines and when you throttle up. I do so remember Linjeflyg taking off from Umea, my home town. You instantly knew when it was a 737.

Oh, how I enjoy to fly this bird.

A FFX model by Eric Cantu as well. I just have to include the -200 in my fleet. Pity this smoking, thundering machine is on its way out. This is the mother of all 737s.

Panel is the one I use for the -300 until I find a better one, all analog.

Sound by Daniel R. Careri. Now this is a noisy affair. The -200 blows your ears off. Yummy. Turn up your aircraft sound in Options > Sound.

Douglas DC-9-14

A nice model by SGAIR and Eric Cantu (what a guy!). Handling very nice and with its old slow and noisy engines. A true delight.

Panel by Jim Waters. I have made some changes that suit me. Beautiful old analog gauges.

Sound by (who else) Eric Cantu. Outside a nice, noisy, creamy, squeeking world of jet whines and rumbling. In those days jets really made an (h)ear experience. Inside, a rather cool and quiet environment. Ahh, yummy.

Limelight Boeing 727-200 in Tunis at night

Boeing 727-200

Model: From the Eric Cantu Works

Panel: By Richard Probst (Layout and BMP) and Mikael Seedorff (Gauges). I moved the gauges from R Probst rather ugly panel BMP to M Seedorff's. Almost fitted. Separately they crashed my FS2004. Now they work like charm.

Sound: A truly beautiful high squeeking affair by Alejandro Rojas. Niiiice.

A nightflight in this oldie but goldie from Tunis, Tunisia to Amman, Jordania, to be found at YouTube
